Travel will be required 20% of the time for full time.
No travel requirements for trained part time.
Responsibilities:
Taking accurate ocular, medical, medication, social and family history.
Documenting chief complaint Ability to perform basic skills such dilation of pupils, applanation tonometry.
Assist in maintaining clinical office inventory including restocking exam rooms and treatment rooms.
Sterilization of instruments Prepare patients for intravenous injections.
Prepare procedure room as needed.
Maintain CPR certification.
Requirements:
Experience in an ophthalmic clinical setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience with electronic medical records.
Dependable and flexible.
The ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods during the workday.
Must occasionally lift 10-15 pounds.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant - preferred but not required.
Ability to work hours between 7:
30 am to 7:
00 pm Monday through Friday.
High school or GED
